To combat historical prejudices Google have even proposed new emoji’s which show women in various professions, including Business, Science and Technology. Conversations on the balance of race, gender, sexuality and age of employees within engineering and technology industries lead to a common outcome; engineering and technology should be inclusive industries where people are employed for their skills, irrespective of background.
