After several years looking at the world of electric cars (EV’s) from the outside I finally took the plunge and brought a 2017 Renault Zoe. It was August 2021 so I’ve had some time to experience the car, and how it works and I feel its time to start sharing that on my blog, especially as the cost of electricity, petrol and diesel are all going up and it will be good to explore the impact that these cost changes will have on car ownership.

Today is another special date, 22/2/22, which is a follow up from this similar date in 2020 (click here). The one in 2020 worked in US and UK date styles but today as far more 2’s!! This evening we will see 22:22 22/2/22
This post has been published on 22/2/22 which is a unique moment in dates, and well worth celebrating, so enjoy this mathematical marvel, two-day 😌
Hey it's 2022
Sooooo…. it’s been a while since I posted to this blog (484 days to be precise), but I’m back! There is some content lined up on the loose themes of this blog of sustainability, transport and technology. Last August I traded in my dream car (it was old and expensive), a two seater convertible for a more practical four door, and went all electric. I’m the first to admit that this leap is easier in a two car family as it does remove some of the worries around range, recharging etc… anyway all of these preconceptions will be tested in future blogposts so subscribe in your RSS reader, bookmark this page and look forward to an honest review of all electric motoring in 2022.
In the meantime I recommend WORDLE. I don’t play everyday but enjoy posting my results to twitter, and often using the great wordlebot shortcut from macstories.net.
